This is one of the most versatile drivers in the Nike Line. With 8 different positions, any golfer can customize the club to help with his or her own swing preferences. Have tendencies for a fade, I have mine set at 1 degree closed. Removing the shaft is easy and foolproof. As you turn the wrench, it lights up/beeps to let you know that your wrench is properly seated. Making adjustments takes about 1-2 minutes…making me wonder if I should be switching the position during a round, if the setting is not to my liking.
The headcover is a non-conventional velcro enclosure with a shaft stabilizer. A velcro pouch holds the wrench and you can use the “indicator” to see what setting you placed your club.
The distance is the same as any other conventional 460 cc Titanium Head. However, I have more control given the ability to make the necessary adjustments for my swing. This club is surprisingly controllable despite its longer than standard, 45.75″ length shaft. The high momenta of inertia (MOI) of the head is forgiving. Sound and the feel are great. This is a medium launch driver and I am getting realistically about 5 to 7 yards further carry than my 4 year old predecessor, the Original Nike Sasquatch.
This is the perfect solution for those golfers who feel that they need to experiment with their equipment or even try/buy many clubs to improve their game.
